For your safety and ours, an exception-based video event recorder is mounted in all cars on the windshield behind the rear-view mirror. This camera captures sights and sounds inside and outside the vehicle. G-forces (e.g. hard braking, swerving, collision, etc.) will cause the recorder to save the 10 seconds immediately before and after the triggered event. Saved events are downloaded, analyzed, and assigned a risk score to coach drivers. This is used to improve driving behavior and assess liability in collisions. See www.drivecam.com for additional information.
Limo Rental Safety
If you are planning to rent a limousine, Ford Motor Co., National Limousine Association, and the QVM-CMC Vehicle Manufacturers Association strongly recommend you ride in limousines that are built by manufacturer-certified Coachbuilders. The certification program is called “QVM,” which stands for Qualified Vehicle Modifier. The rules governing the QVM program are strict and are designed with the vehicle capabilities in mind. Belaire Limousine Inc. only purchases QVM/CMC vehicles. Trust, but verify by going to the website for Ford Motor Company – Limousine Rental Safety.
All Belaire Limousine chauffeurs have a For-Hire PSC License and are monitored by CJIS (Criminal Justice Investigative Services). All chauffeurs have attended and passed “The Ultimate Chauffeur Training Program” and all in-house staff have passed the Tom Mazza training program for Reservations and Dispatch. Tom Mazza is recognized as the leading expert and consultant in the limousine industry. Go to www.TomMazza.com for more info.
