When getting ready for your wedding day, you might think you have everything planned out. But do you know what you’re bringing with you in your limo or party bus?
Many bridal or groom parties forget that they’ll actually need a few things while riding in the limousine or party bus. Here’s what you shouldn’t forget.
A Makeup Bag
It’s always a good idea to have a makeup bag with you in the limo. Party buses and limos full of wedding parties will likely be stopping for pictures before getting their dance on at the reception. It would be a huge number to pay a lot of money for wedding photos and look tired and shiny in all of them. This is where the makeup bag comes in handy. You can pack extra powder, concealer, blush and lipstick. But aside from the makeup itself, you should have a mirror, eye drops, hand lotion, chapstick, hairpins, and maybe even a small first aid kit.
A Change of Clothes
If you plan on leaving the reception in the limo, bring a change of clothes with you. You’re probably going to want to get out of your formal attire once the day is over, so a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt will be lifesavers. If you don’t think you’re going to need any other clothes, make sure you’re bringing flat shoes. If you’re the bride and have been standing in heels all day, it’ll be a big relief to take them off while trucking through the grass for your photos.
Tissues
You can never have too many tissues on your wedding day. It’ll be an emotional day for all, so having extra tissues are guaranteed for come in handy. Your entire limousine or party bus will probably need them at one point or another, so it’s a good idea to bring a few boxes with you.
Champagne
Finally, and maybe most importantly, you can’t celebrate without champagne. If the limo service you’re working with doesn’t already have the wet bar stocked (there are currently more than 130,000 limousines in service across the country, so find one that does), bring a few bottles and glasses for you to toast to your entire party. You should bring one bottle specifically for the bride and groom and two or three more bottles for everyone else in the vehicle.
There’s a lot that goes into planning a wedding, so it can be easy to forget the little things. While packing for the limo may not be a priority, it’s definitely necessary. Make sure you bring champagne, makeup, shoes, and tissues with you on your ride.
